With 30 miles of beach, there are plenty of places on the island of Maui where a person can fish, surf, swim or even fly kites and if you are looking for the ultimate beach destination then you really ought to consider a trip to Maui. So start saving up, look into whatever debt settlement reduction services you need, start setting aside the necessary vacation time – and then when you are good and ready, set out on your journey. Below are just a few of the beaches of note on this fantastic island.

Sprecklesville
This beach is on private land and public access is tenuous, but if you respect the area and make no attempt to trespass then you will find a prime location for windsurfing launching. Just be on the look out for reefs in your area.

Baldwin Beach
A fantastic place for bodysurfing, boogie boarding, hiking or just enjoying the sun. There are lifeguards on duty at all times so make sure you get a feel for the territory before you dive in and, as always, be on the lookout for coral.

Paia Bay
Casual surfing and boogie boarding are all welcome and the park has a skate park, washrooms, showers and plenty of parking (though you will want to hurry on weekends).

And these are just a few of the beaches Maui has to offer.

As many people can say what beaches to go to during the summer in the United States or elsewhere around the world in more temperate climates, most people who have traveled to the Miami Dade County area have enjoyed Crandon Park Beach. It has been mentioned as one of the top ten family friendly beaches in the United States.

Off the coastline of California, near the city of San Diego is Coranado Island. With nearly twenty miles of bike paths located close by the beaches surrounding the island. Riding bicycles to the beach would be something the whole family would enjoy.

Moving to the Island of Puerto Rico, outside of the capital San Juan is Luquillo Beach. Here families can search for exotic species of starfish and shells, not forgetting sand dollars. With coral reefs to protect the beach from strong tides and hurricanes, it also creates a shallow lagoon for kids to try out snorkeling.

Moving across the Atlantic Ocean and into the Mediterranean to Playa de los Bateles Beach located outside the town of Conil in Andulusia province, Spain. This beach is highly regarded by the Spanish as a family destination and has been designated as a swimming beach. Traveling east, we find Calvi Beach on the French island of Corsica. On the Adriatic Coast of Italy is the beach town of Cattolica where the area has been known for reasonable prices.

In conclusion, all of the beaches listed here in this article offer wonderful family vacations to enjoy the beautiful oceans and beaches the world has to offer. Remember, life is a beach.

Since Jacques Cousteau introduced the Aqualung to the masses in the early 1950s, dive shops have sprung up around the world and there are now millions of certified divers practicing their sport in oceans around the globe. Scuba classes are taught anywhere there is available water and students complete their ‘class dives- in the ocean, in lakes and even in murky quarries in the Midwest. Some classes are taught in hometowns and the students then travel to tropical locales to compete their openwater dives.

Many aspiring scuba divers decide to learn to dive on their vacations to exotic destinations and the choices are, seeming, endless with dive resorts scattered in tropical locations around the globe. One of the favorite places for certified divers and students alike is the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean Sea. The Caymans are considered the diving capital of the world and offers divers a wide variety of dive sites. There are shallow patch reefs that are ideal for dive classes, towering coral heads overlooking deep gullies, sheer walls that drop off into the abyss and shipwreck to thrill the adventurous.

Learning to dive in any beautiful tropical location will keep the diver coming back for more.

Catching a wave is not as easy as it looks. The elements must be just right and the waves must be surf-able. In Waikiki, Oahu, Hawaii, surfing is a major sport. The water is warm here, and surfing is part of this island’s history. The waves here are slow and rolling and are perfect for the beginner to get a handle on using the board.

Traveling down the Florida coast, not many beaches in Florida have the great waves that Miami Beach has. This area seems to get a constant waist high surf. The beaches are ongoing and since surfing is not a huge sport here, it is not too crowded. On over in Florida is Panama city Beach. Panama is known for its gorgeous beaches with white sand and emerald green water. While the waves in this area tend to be smaller, it is a great place for a person to learn before surfing some major waves.

The best place for a beginner to learn is Cowell-s Beach, Santa Cruz. This area has many entry level surfers on foam boards. You won’t get crowded by pro surfers, or ran over by them. The water is colder here, but the waves and area make this the perfect spot for learning to stay on the board.

If the very thought of going out in a small boat makes you feel queasy but you would still love to see whales and dolphins close up, don’t despair. There are many places in the world where you can view whales and dolphins while keeping your feet on solid ground.

Hermanus in South Africa is so famous for the southern right whales which come right up to the beach that the town employs a whale crier who walks through the town announcing their presence! In Albany, Western Australia, both humpback and southern right whales come close to the shore for calving from June to October. Migrating whales travel along the coasts of Tasmania and New Zealand, where they can be seen right from the beaches. Over two-thirds of the world’s population of humpback whales visits the warm waters off the Hawaiian islands every winter.

Closer to home, whales have been spotted in recent years sporting in New York and Boston harbor waters. The beaches of eastern Canada provide the landbound whale watcher with 22 different species of whales and dolphins to admire. On the Pacific coast, killer whales cruise the coastline off the San Juan islands on a daily basis. The information party rocks on: Travel : Watching Whale in Sydney
